Professional Interests

Dr. Coppola is a board certified OB/GYN, specializing in maternal-fetal medicine. She works along with a woman’s obstetrician when her expertise in managing pregnancy-related complications is required.

 

Dr. Coppola’s professional interests include preterm labor, fetal imaging, multiple pregnancies and the management of hypertension and diabetes during pregnancy.  She works along with a woman’s obstetrician when her expertise in managing pregnancy-related complications is required.

 

Her patients describe Dr. Coppola as compassionate, patient and a good listener who takes the time to explain medical information and answer questions completely.  She speaks conversational Spanish.

 

Board certified in OB/GYN and perinatology by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Coppola received her M.D. from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, Lubbock, Texas.  This was followed by a residency in OB/GYN from the Texas Tech Regional Academic Health Center, El Paso, TX.  She then specialized her practice, completing a fellowship in perinatology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ.  Dr. Coppola went on to receive her MPH through the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health.

Personal Interests

Outside the office, Dr. Coppola enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, cycling and participating in medical missions to West Africa.
